The Bodog name has been licensed to a content company. Three months of building went into a media platform for Bodog.com covering sport, technology, travel, wellness and gaming.

Bodog Canada Explained: What Happened to the Brand in 2026
Renamed Ozoon on 17 February 2026 — same login, same balance, offshore licence. The full answer is one scroll below.
19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec · the successor is offshore-licensed (Tobique, Curaçao), not by a Canadian province
Bodog no longer operates as a gambling brand. On 17 February 2026, after an overnight maintenance window, Bodog Canada was renamed Ozoon and every player on bodog.eu was moved to ozoon.eu — accounts, full balances, open bets, transaction history and loyalty points transferred automatically, and the old login credentials still work. Separately, players on bodog.com were migrated to Ignition Poker. The successor site keeps all four Bodog verticals — sportsbook, casino, live casino and poker — and runs a casino welcome offer of up to C$3,500 (CAD) plus 400 free spins on Gods of Luxor, with Interac and six cryptocurrencies in the cashier. Its footer names the Tobique Gaming Commission and the Curaçao Gaming Authority; no Canadian provincial regulator is listed. On 13 August 2026 Calvin Ayre announced he had licensed the Bodog name to a content company building a media platform at Bodog.com — sport, technology, travel, wellness and gaming — so the name is coming back, but not as a casino.

What happened to Bodog in 2026
Bodog Canada was renamed on 17 February 2026. Users of bodog.eu were told in advance, the site went into an overnight technical window on the night of 16–17 February 2026, and when it came back up the address served Ozoon at www.ozoon.eu. The brand owner's own wording was that the Bodog name would no longer be used for online gambling — a decision about the name, not a closure of the business.
Nothing on the player side needed doing: accounts, balances, open bets, history, loyalty points and open bonuses moved automatically, and the old username and password open the new site. What changed is the address and support: service@ozoon-mail.com, plus a Discord server.
The move was not a single route: bodog.com players — the South American base — went to Ignition Poker, a different company with a different account and balance. The Canadian transfer, step by step, is on the rebrand page.
New name.
Same game.
- Account and login — unchanged
- Full balance — moved
- Open bets — settled on the new site
- Transaction history — kept
- Loyalty points and open bonuses — carried over
- Support — service@ozoon-mail.com and Discord

bodog.eu, 6 November 2025 — the last version (archive) - 13 Aug 2026 The name is licensed to media
Ayre announces a content company will relaunch Bodog.com as a media platform, not a casino.
Two details matter today. The 2006 sale to Morris Mohawk Gaming Group covered the US-facing business only — Calvin Ayre kept the name, which is why it could be licensed again in 2026. And the 2012 indictment ended in July 2017 with a plea to one misdemeanour, a year of probation and a US$500,000 fine; bodog.com was handed back.
The name is coming back — as media, not a casino
On 13 August 2026 Calvin Ayre wrote on his X account that he had licensed the Bodog brand to a content company. The company, he said, had spent three months building a media platform around five subjects — sport, technology, travel, wellness and gaming — for a relaunch at Bodog.com.
What that means in practice is simple. You cannot open a gambling account at Bodog.com, and there is no sign-up form to look for. On 25 August 2026 the domain answered with an HTTP 403 behind Cloudflare and showed no public site at all. Anything that appears there later is publishing, not betting, and the casino product under the old name is not returning.
One warning follows: a site offering to "register at Bodog" today sells something Bodog does not. The product moved to Ozoon; a page still promising a Bodog account is out of date or not what it claims.
$ curl -I https://bodog.com/
HTTP/2 403 Forbidden
server: cloudflare
# no public site behind the wall Where your old account lives now
- No re-registration, no new KYC round for the transfer itself
- Password reset and two-factor checks happen on the new domain
- Support: service@ozoon-mail.com · Discord
The answer fits in a paragraph: bodog.eu credentials work on ozoon.eu without re-registering, the account, balance and history are already there, and password recovery and two-factor checks run on the new domain. Support is service@ozoon-mail.com and the Discord server.
If you signed in at bodog.com rather than bodog.eu, your route is Ignition Poker, not Ozoon: two migrations, two companies, and a bodog.com login will not find an account on ozoon.eu.
What the successor site offers
One screen of product, in the successor's own colours. Four verticals, twelve named studios, a jackpot pool with three Hot Drop tiers — and the eight covers below are real lobby tiles, not artwork.
Rival is the historical core of the old Bodog catalogue; Pragmatic Play, Hacksaw Gaming and PG Soft carry the current hits. Betsoft, BGaming, Booongo, Qora, Reevo, Ka Gaming, Nektan and RedGenn fill the rest of the lobby. Category by category, the catalogue is on the casino page.
Documented maximum payout above C$5,000,000. A countdown makes a jackpot feel close; it does not make a payout likely.

Deposits, withdrawals and Interac
The successor's cashier lists Visa, Mastercard and Interac for card and bank routes, and six cryptocurrencies — Bitcoin, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin SV, Ethereum, USD Tether and Litecoin. Of all of that, Interac is the line worth reading twice. It is Canada's domestic payment rail, the one people already use for rent and e-transfers, and its presence at an offshore-licensed site is the single genuinely local element of the product.
Crypto is the other line that changes something. A crypto deposit lifts the casino ceiling from C$3,500 to C$7,000 and the sports ceiling from C$400 to C$600 — the only reason the offer differs by channel. The rollover multiplier is not printed on the public promotions page; it lives behind each promotion's More Info link, and we do not quote a number we cannot see.
On withdrawals: identity verification comes before the first payout, so do it early. Mechanics are on the rebrand page.
Bodog88, Bodog68 and other lookalikes

Searches for "bodog88" and "bodog68" come from people who remember an Asian or a Brazilian Bodog and expect to find it. On 25 August 2026 none of the three addresses ran a casino: bodog68.com served a GoDaddy domain-for-sale page, while bodog88.com and bodog.bet both showed the Safenames registrar's holding page with the line "there is no website configured for this address yet". These are defensive registrations and listings, not clone operators.
The Brazilian line is often told wrong: bodog.bet did not "move" anywhere. It never received a licence from Brazil's regulator and does not operate; where those players went is on the poker page.
Is Bodog legit? An honest answer
"Is Bodog legit" hides three different questions. They have three different answers, and each one has a document behind it.
The Canadian site bodog.eu ran on Antigua and Barbuda FSRC licences — Interactive Gaming Licence 2392 and Interactive Wagering Licence 2393 — issued to II Nido Limited, company number 14821. Footer as archived on 6 November 2025.
Not as a gambling brand. Since 17 February 2026 the Canadian product trades as Ozoon and the South American players sit at Ignition Poker. The name itself is licensed for media only.
Operator Rocketship Ventures S.R.L, licence no. 0000067, overseen by the Tobique Gaming Commission. New Brunswick players are served by Caravan Media B.V. (Curaçao company 146989) under Curaçao Gaming Authority licence OGL/2024/674/0714.

No AGCO, no iGaming Ontario, no provincial body. Ontario has run its own regulated market since 2022; the successor is not in it. The licences above are real and checkable, but there is no Canadian regulator to complain to — worth knowing before the first deposit. Age rules follow the province: 19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec.
Questions people still ask about Bodog
What happened to Bodog?
Bodog stopped operating as a gambling brand on 17 February 2026. After an overnight maintenance window on 16–17 February, the Canadian site bodog.eu was renamed Ozoon and moved to ozoon.eu. Players on bodog.com were sent to Ignition Poker instead. The brand owner said the Bodog name would no longer be used for online gambling.
Is bodog.eu still working?
No. The address no longer serves a Bodog casino; it belongs to the Ozoon rebrand. Accounts, full balances, open bets, transaction history and loyalty points were transferred automatically to ozoon.eu, and the same username and password still work there.
Can I still log in with my old Bodog account?
Yes, on the successor site. Existing bodog.eu credentials work on ozoon.eu without re-registering. Support moved to service@ozoon-mail.com and a Discord server. If your account was on bodog.com, your route is Ignition Poker, not Ozoon.
Who founded Bodog?
Calvin Ayre, a Canadian-Antiguan entrepreneur born in 1961. He set the gambling business up in 1996 from Costa Rica and launched Bodog.com in 2000. By 2005 the company reported US$7.3 billion in turnover on US$210 million of revenue.
Why did Bodog leave the United States?
After the 2006 UIGEA, Ayre sold the US-facing business to Morris Mohawk Gaming Group of Kahnawake, Quebec, keeping the brand rights. MMGG dropped the Bodog name on 14 December 2011 and moved its customers to Bovada.
Is Bodog coming back?
The name is, but not as a casino. On 13 August 2026 Calvin Ayre announced he had licensed Bodog to a content company that spent three months building a media platform covering sport, technology, travel, wellness and gaming, for relaunch at Bodog.com. As of late August 2026 that domain returned an HTTP 403 and showed no public site.
Are Bodog88 and Bodog68 real Bodog sites?
No. Checked on 25 August 2026, bodog68.com serves a GoDaddy domain-for-sale lander, while bodog88.com and bodog.bet show a Safenames holding page reading “no website configured for this address yet”. None of them is an operating casino.
Nowhere left to find Bodog — and one place to find its product
Searching for Bodog as a casino now leads to a name that no longer takes bets. The product survived almost intact at ozoon.eu: four verticals, the same studios, the Hot Drop mechanics and a cashier with Interac as its one genuinely local feature. The licences are offshore, the rollover is not printed on the promo page, and no province oversees the site.
- had a bodog.eu account and want it back as it was
- want Interac in and out at an offshore book
- care about the catalogue more than the licence
- want a provincially regulated site with AGCO recourse
- need the rollover number before you decide
- were on bodog.com — your route is Ignition, not Ozoon
19+ in most provinces, 18+ in Alberta, Manitoba and Quebec. The successor site holds offshore licences (Tobique Gaming Commission, Curaçao Gaming Authority), which means no Canadian provincial oversight and no provincial complaints route.
